Quoth The Raven "VFX"

For this project, inspired by Edgar Allen Poe's poem 'The Raven', I set out to make something more cinematic than my previous projects.
I was looking through impact references and listening to music when Austrias 2023 Eurovision entry 'Who the Hell Is Edgar?' by Teya and Salena came on, sparking the idea in my mind, leading me to create the initial concept art and further develop the idea.
One of my goals was to see if I could stick to my concept as much as possible throughout the process, and I feel like I accomplished that!
All the FX, from particles to post-process Materials, have been made in UE5. With meshes made in Blender and textures created in Photoshop.
